  3. VOTING - THE DIVISION BELL
  4. When the Speaker announces a Division, members only 
  5. have eight minutes to cast their vote. To warn them, the 
  6. Division Bell is rung in all the places where MPs are 
  7. likely to be - including the Library, Tea Rooms, and 
  8. Committee Rooms, as well as several pubs and 
  9. restaurants within close walking distance of the Place. 
  10. Some MPs who live very close by even have a Division 
  11. Bell in their homes. In addition, almost every room around 
  12. the Palace contains a television monitor which relays the sound 
  13. of the bell.
